So I plugged it in and went in the house.

As far as I know flashing yellow means the tender is plugged into an outlet but not connected to a battery.

Now when I plug the Tender in it blinks the red and green LED alternately red-green-red-green etc. Light is on the battery is greater than 80 charged and may be removed from the charger and used if necessary. The light on the Tender was yellow which according to the info on the unit means the battery was charging.
