Tighten the top nut of the front cylinder head exhaust flange to 9-18 in-lbs 1-2 Nm then tighten the bottom nut to 100-120 in-lbs 113-136 Nm final tighten the top nut to 100-120 in-lbs 113-136Nm then tighten the bottom nut of the rear cylinder head exhaust flange to 9-18. Well when the bike cooled I inspected and saw one nut had vibrated loose and fallen off the rear pipe flange causing the problem. Remove the two bolts from each muffler body where they attach to the mounting bar.
Def think it needs a couple iterations of torque. Route the oxygen sensor wiring back to their respective plugs and secure with wire ties as necessary. 8 - 14 in.

Exhaust bolt torque spec. Loosen the exhaust flange nuts and spin them off their studs. I bought a new nut and checked the Sportster manual for the correct torque for the flange nuts and it says tighten to 96-120 in lbs.
