Im sure the heated gloves work well but I really like heated grips for a couple of reasons. Required to install your Heated Grips and keep your hands toastie warm. My heat was intermittent.
My favorite Held leather gloves with the grip heat on can get me by. Follo w the instr uctions in the Owners Man ual to re-connect the negative - battery cable. Of course the first thing I looked at was the groundingupon inspection and change out of the grommet end for the wirethe ground looked.
If you want to get the most out of the HD heated grips I highly recommend that you purchase gloves designed to work with heated grips ie. Open the multifunction switch cover by removing the 2 small screws on the back. The problem was the switch.
They have the dial on the side left handle bar grip on the end that goes from OFF to 6. That cold ride home at night. These Harley heated grip kits come with horrible and confusing instructions.
